How can we get angry at Iran for arming the Insurgencey, when we leave over a billion dollars of assault rifle

What is a fair price for these two handguns?

I have recently taken up shooting for sport and found I really enjoyed shooting both the Glock 17 and S&W 619. I want to begin comparison shopping local gun shops for both firearms but don’t have any frame of reference re: price aside from MSRP. What is a realistic, yet fair price to look for for each of these handguns? Thanks!

please help a car guy confused help?

I have a chevy beretta which runs OK but needs a clutch really bad. I dont want to do it myself because I have no where to do it and the shops want 800 to 900 bucks to fix it. I need the car so should I just go buy another car thats cheap? Or just fix it but the car needs a exhaust done and needs a heater core. I think I should buy a cheap car what do you think?

Shotgun Ammunition?

Back in Delaware I found a 12 gauge slug called a sabot round. I moved down to Virginia and I cannot seem to find them. Do you all have any idea why? Am I not looking in the right places? I checked at Dick’s, Walmart, and local gun stores and nothing. I need help.

Gun Licences? Please Help?

Im A 17 Yo, and looking to start target shooting and such, just as a hobby, not competition, I would really like some knowledge of anyone that knows what the age limit is to hold a gun licence permit, and costs etc. Im looking at just getting a permit for a 22′ Calliber… Im An Australian Resident, so please refer your answers to Australia not america due to they maybe different conditions.. Cheers…

Do You agree with the N.R.A. asking the American govt. that they need to reconsider a proposed bill BANNING suspected Terrorists from getting hand guns.The argument that the NRA has is that they feel the word “suspected” is not an admission of guilt and their for should not interfer with the suspected terrorists right to own a hand gun under the 2nd ammendment’

Now, dont give me your crap about how people die in cars,planes,alcohol,cigarettes,choking on Legos and that they should be banned as well…I dont care,show some intellegence and see the question for the question itsself and dont stand on a soap box…All I’m asking is…DO YOU AGREE WITH THE NRA “ON THIS ISSUE”.
Thats it, nothing more,nothing less. Save your propaganda for someone else

If I witnessed random killing (e.g. school shooting) and shot the perpetrator with my gun, would I go to jail?

Say I brought a gun from near by home after calling the cops. Assuming I arrive at the scene before the cop does, would I go to jail for shooting the perpetrator dead? I live in California.
Given clear and eminent danger to others (but not to myself), can I still shoot to kill to save lives?
JustJoe: This is a serious question. There is nothing bobby like about shooting a person.
delive_r, please read the question carefully. I wrote brought, not bought. You assumed that I was going to buy a gun near my house and have it be a water gun. I see no logic in that either.

To answer you question as to why I would bear arms if I already called the cops, is because I live right front of a school. I can see the playground from my living room, whereas the police station is about 15 minutes away driving. A lot can happen in 15 minutes in a playground full of children if a mad man is there to kill with loaded guns.
frickade - It was just a thought that came across my mind when I was reading about all the recent random shootings. I wondered to myself what I would do If I saw a man randomly shooting at children from my living room. (I can see the school from my home). I thought I wouldn’t hesitate to shoot the killer if he was murdering innocent children / people, but thought I would probably go to jail. Wanted to hear from people that new more about law.
You’re right. Never thought about patrol cars though.
