I fought through hell
I fought through fire
I fought for years
and did not tire

to claim the things
in life i lack.
Alas the street
i used to know
is boarded up
and sunk in snow
The house that once
was my domain,
a tattered symbol
of my pain.
It took me years
to track you down
a thousand names

and here at last
i find you wed
a daughter, son,
my words unsaid.
I left you once
to shield your eyes
and save you from
their pain and lies
and now my gun
my only friend.
it seems a fitting
way to end
War has stole
away my wife
and now at last
it claims my life
or this one…
A child put in this world,
from a most unforgiving sin.
Like a stopless version of a children’s game,
This is a story in which no one can win.
An “A” is written on her chest,
a symbol for her sin and conflicted heart.
A lover stands nearby somewhere,
for sin committed was not too far.
The seasons are a clock,
as leaves and seasons change.
The child, she grows, inevitably,
Something that cannot be stopped.
The lover has admitted sin,
one tragic, fateful day.

Why didn’t the police supvervisors have the right weapons during the North Hollywood Shoot Out?

In 1995 to 96 somewhere there was a bank robbery in Van Nuys/North Hollywood. The bank robbers were covered in Kevlar and using automatic weapons. The police had to “borrow” some restricted automatic weapons from a local gun store. Why didn’t the police supervisors have weapons that could match the bank robbers weapons? What exactly happened there?

Wow, thanks so much for pointing out to me that we have 2 wars to fight…. I had no ideal . I mean, just because my husband is one of the men over there fighting it. Is no reason I should already know . And if you think obama is not going to see if he can take our gun rights away and much more, then I think you need to open your eyes..

We have 30 million mortgage less homes because dumb *** people like your self said ever one should be able to buy a home wither or not they could pay for it, so banks had to start handing out high risk loans. And maybe our economy would not be spinning out of control if we were not paying the way for lazy *** people who need to get jobs and stop poping out babies . Then we could put our taxes dollars to good use.

I need to get something about God and abortion off my chest?

I don’t understand why people always make abortion a God issue. It is WRONG because you are TAKING AWAY A LIFE. Forget God or an afterlife. Why don’t people understand the significance of life? A few cells that will become a human is still a human. The adults of this world don’t have the right to take away a life. Even if they would be born into a situation where their life would be bad, at least they are alive. I know for one thing that I would rather be dirt poor and living on the streets than dead. We should understand that the lives of others are just as important as ours. We can’t be selfish after we have been given the gift of life. It may be all we ever get, and it should be treasured. In the case of rape, it sucks, but I believe everyone should still value the life of another enough to make personal sacrifices. Imagine someone has captured you and a friend and has tied you up. He gives you a gun and says you can shoot your friend or yourself. You should save your friend.
I can’t stand the thought of lives being taken away. If there is even one person like me who would choose to live under any circumstances, nobody can even think about justifying abortion.
By the way, adoption is just fine. GOD, if he even exists, has nothing to do with this.
Also, being Republican or Democrat has nothing to do with the issue. Why isn’t this issue more important today?
I don’t understand how some of you can disagree. How can you not value others more than, or at least equal to, yourself? We should be able to sacrifice any amount of time or money to save another’s life.

Can a radar gun disable a radar detector?

In the song Radar Gun by The Bottlerockets, they sing the following:

If you are at close range, can a radar gun blow out and disable a radar detector? I’ve not found anything documented, but if some of you in LE have expereince, it would be cool to know.

what is the difference in terms of noise, between a gun shot and a firecracker?

i live in houston texas, in an area where firecrackers are permitted on certain holidays. on independence day and new years eve are the only 2 days of the year where people can fire up their firecrackers and fireworks. when my neighbors or even anybody in the city limit who are playing firecrackers that special night, can i shoot my handgun at cans and bottles for target practice in my backyard? that way i can save myself $7 from going to the shooting range. is there any difference in the sound of the noise that the 2 of them make? is the gun shot louder? i mean, people are going to constantly play their fireworks all night long and it wouldnt make a difference for me to take a couple shots would it? if it is not permitted or is prohibited, would the police still make a big deal out of it? if so, what is the penalty? if prison, then how long? if ticket, then how much?
