For fun! So why DOES Sam Winchester keep a ruler by the bed?
So what do you think? ;] haha.
And I know it was probably just a joke like how Dean was with the other two things he said, but it’s kind of a fill-in-the-blank.

Can you help me identify this Westernfield.22 caliber rifle?
My grandfather gave me the rifle he had when he was a child. Based on my research, I know it may not be worth a lot of money, but I want to know more about the actual manufacturer, spare parts, when it was manufactured, etc. It is stamped on the top of the receiver as a “Westernfield Model 58.” I have searched everything online I can and looked at every reference sheet and have not been able to find who manufactured the gun. I am semi aware that the Westernfield was a brand name used by Montgomery Wards, possibly. I am not positive if they were ONLY sold in Montgomery Wards or how else I could research it. I tried referencing Wards…I tried searching backwards by other Savage, Stevens, Springfield models that people suggested for other Westernfield branded guns… I have seen it referred to as a gill gun (presumably because of the gills in receiver near bolt carrier). If someone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. If you can help…please provide some sort of reference or link to show the information you provide. I would love to read up on it more just for my own curiousity so I can tell my kids about the gun one day. Thanks!!
Nah - I have seen both those sites and not found anything. I have searched site after site…I think it is going to take someone who has the knowledge because I have found nothing online.

Right to purchase a firearm taken away, or rights to get a concealed pistol permit taken away?
I asked the police department about how my rights were taken away, and they said since my record is sealed, they can’t access my record to see that info, however I’ve read that having your record sealed doesn’t restore your rights, necessarily, so I’m a bit confused. How does having my record sealed not restore my rights, but the police said since my record is sealed, they can’t see any prohibiters that would prevent me from getting the gun or permit?
I just want to make sure that I am eligible, because I’m going to be pissed if later on down the road, someone finds out that I’m not suppose to possess a permit or firearm, and end up getting a big fine for it, even though both the police and the FBI permitted me my rights to get both of them.
