which ones better? then which one of the brands guns is the best?

Ok well it was my first time playing and first time using the SP-1. The gun is brand new. I use CO2. So I go and shoot maybe about 2 balls come out and then when i hit the trigger to shoot the 3rd it dosent fire. I shake it and everything it just dosent come out. I hit the trigger maybe about 10-20 times and finally it shoots again. Now about 3 balls come out and the same thing happens. Once i was able to shoot 10 balls, one right after the other. What is my problem. Ive heard about the CO2 problems with the Ion and the SP-1, so is that my problem? I have a remote cord and am getting a harness to put the tank in so should this fix my problem? Or should I bring it to my local paintball store (Eastern Paintball) and have it checked out? Or should I send it back to Smart Parts for repair?
