A buddy of mine in Romania asked me to find out if he can buy a hunting rifle from the USA. I am no expert on this nor on ammunition used. I would like to find out some good types of rifles and ammunition especially also how much they cost in $.
Considering that if he finds something he would like to buy it can you tell me anything about how to export/import this to Romania?

Obviously not a real serious question. If I had to choose one or two guns I’m thinking I would take my beretta 90-two in 9mm and beretta CX4 carbine in .40 S&W. That way it would never be hard to ammunition for either one (the same caliber would’ve been cool but I wasn’t thinking about that at the time).

Is 30-30 jacketed soft point ammo safe to use in a Model 94 Winchester?

Although it does have a flat point, it the surface area of the point is a tad smaller than the primer of the round in front of it, and I know the dangers of loading spitzer-type ammunition in a tubular magazine. Is this stuff technically safe to load more than one at a time in the magazine, or can you only do that with flat-nosed or rounded ammunition?

What ammunition does a 22 long rifle or short long use?

I have had 22 long rifle in my closet for some time and would love to take it out for some target practice but have no idea what it fires. The only markings it bears is “22 Long Rifle or Short Long” engraved on the top. It is single load bolt action from what i can tell. Any suggestions?
